Advocacy

I have been involved in advocacy on both sides of the aisle since before my residency. Over the years, I have visited offices in both Washington, DC, and Sacramento, CA, to interact with elected officials and their staff. The addition of remote meeting options with the pandemic has improved the ability to interact with legislators, particularly when trying to work in a meeting into a busy day at the hospital.

Here are some photos of various advocacy events, ranging from district events to Sacramento to DC.
